LC Conference Registration Opens

Languages Canada's 6th annual conference will be held at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax beginning on Wednesday, February 20th until Friday, February 22nd, 2013.   The LC Annual General  Meeting (members only) will follow on Saturday, February 23rd.

Languages Canada will recognize the accomplishments of the association which have been achieved during these early years and will continue to enhance and develop long term plans to promote and advocate Canada's language training industry nationally and internationally. There will be both plenary sessions and professional development workshops involving international presenters in 3 streams:   Quality Education in Canada - Letting the world know: marketing and promotion;  Getting Better all the time / Building on Quality: best practices, quality, standards and Taking the Lead: program management, research, innovation.  

Languages Canada is Canada's premier language organization representing both of Canada's official languages: English and French. Membership is limited to member programs, both public and private, which meet the rigorous standards of the association and who are committed to upholding them. The internationally recognized quality assurance scheme is comprehensive, rigorous and covers the areas of: curriculum, teacher qualifications, student services, student admissions, marketing, promotion, facilities and administration.
