Languages Canada invites proposals for presentations for our 15^th Annual Conference

Languages Canada’s Annual Conference has always been our flagship event, a meeting place for our member programs and other Canadian and international education partners and stakeholders to re-connect, share, learn, and collaborate. After a one-year absence, we are pleased to be able to come together once again for an in-person event.

The last two years have been among the most difficult for our members. The association's advocacy efforts have proven more important than ever, particularly in raising the voice of our sector with the federal government. For that reason, and to raise the profile of our sector and the association's work, we have chosen the beautiful city of Ottawa for our Annual Conference. We plan to leverage proximity to Parliament Hill to engage with pertinent ministers and MPs and highlight the importance of Canada's English and French language education sector in meeting the country's goals for economic recovery and growth, diversity and inclusion, labour force development, and immigration.

Members and stakeholders are invited to submit proposals for presentations using the form below. You may also submit suggestions for presenters and topics of interest and/or importance. The conference committee will attempt to seek presentations accordingly.

Deadlines

• Preliminary Submission: December 15, 2021 (full summary and final details required by final submission date)
• Final Submission: January 31, 2022

Languages Canada is grateful for all proposals submitted; however, selections will be made by the conference committee to provide as wide a variety of topics as possible within the available time slots. Acceptance of proposals will be confirmed by February 15, 2022.
