Both 2020 and 2021 were challenging years for recruiters and students wishing to study abroad.
When the pandemic hit, it suddenly became harder for students to find information about study abroad options and connect with institutional representatives. Virtual events filled the gap left by the cancellation of all in-person recruitment events.
In the second part of 2022, with travel and in-person recruitment events becoming available again, FPP wanted to better understand student preferences in this new era, when it comes to researching study abroad options and connecting with recruiters.
Following the release of the initial results of their latest student survey “Understanding student preferences in a post-COVID-19 world” at the Languages Canada conference in Ottawa, FPP will share detailed results derived from the submissions of over 5,000 prospective international students across 172 countries.
The session will also include a brief discussion about the future of student recruitment, FPP’s upcoming Virtual Fairs for Language Programs and their latest innovations in the virtual events space.
