World Student Day is July 20, 2018!

World Student Day is a Languages Canada event, and is a celebration of international language students at member programs across the country and their impact on the community, province and country where they study. Events for 2018 are being planned across the country on July 20th.

The Brazilian Association of International Education (FAUBAI) annual conference has become the largest and most anticipated international education event in South America, with expected participation of close to 1000 delegates from around the world. The 2018 conference takes place in Rio de Janeiro from April 14 to 18.

More than 200 delegates are expected to attend Languages Canada’s 10th annual conference in Toronto from February 19th to 22nd , 2018, including leaders from across the language education sector, provincial and federal government officials, NGOs, and other key influencers in the field of international education.

LC trade mission to Central Asia (Kazakhstan)

Languages Canada’s follow-up trade mission to Almaty will also bring agents from surrounding regions where Canada has increased its positioning in recent years, including Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. As in previous trade missions, our delegation will meet with Canadian Embassy Officers who will provide support in identifying business opportunities in these markets.

Languages Canada’s follow-up mission to the Mexican market comes after a successful event in Queretaro in 2016. The 2017 initiative will bring together agents from various regions in Mexico. Members will also benefit from participation and support of the Trade Commissioners’ service from the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City, who will also provide a presentation on the Mexican market, highlighting all the advantages that Canada has over other international destinations for Mexican language students.
