Medicine Hat College offers a progressive, communication based English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program.  The EAP program has a proven history of providing students with the language training necessary to be successful in all walks of life. Students may attend for a few weeks so that they may practice their English, or complete the program to fulfill their English proficiency requirement before entering credit programs.  Whatever the students’ needs, this full-time program (offering 24 hours per week of intensive English language training) will prepare short term students to function successfully in the global marketplace and allow long term students to thrive in an academic environment.

Medicine Hat College is a Designated Learning Institution. All academic credit programs, including English for Academic Purposes are designated programs.
