Our English as a Second Language Program courses follow the Portfolio Based Language Assessment (PBLA) model, which means students will keep their own individual portfolios and be able to track their progress with their instructors. Our classes also focus on holistic skills development across the four skill sets of: reading, writing, listening, and speaking in theme based units. To enhance cultural learning and real world language acquisition we include field trips and guest speakers. This includes a variety of summer and winter sports and recreation activities that Northern Ontarians are known for!
