Languages Canada and Guard.me International Insurance Renew Sponsorship Agreement Partnership

guard.me International Insurance

Languages Canada and Guard.me International Insurance are proud to announce the renewal of a sponsorship agreement that demonstrates a shared commitment to continue working together to promote and support Canada’s language education sector. This marks the 12th year of Guard.me – Languages Canada cooperation, although Guard.me’s presence and support for our members predates the creation of Languages Canada.

“We are very grateful to Guard.me for their unwavering support, which extends far beyond the financial to protecting students and helping our members in their efforts to grow into new markets.” – Gonzalo Peralta, Executive Director of Languages Canada

Guard.me’s ongoing support of Languages Canada’s members includes:

  • Guard.me will once again be the Diamond sponsor of the LC Annual Conference! Their support keeps conference registration fees down for members, year after year.
  • Guard.me sponsorship of LC’s digital communications helps to keep LC membership dues affordable.
  • Guard.me support of LC trade missions reduces costs for participating members. Join LC and Guard.me on upcoming missions to Thailand/Vietnam (March 2 – 6, 2020) and France/Spain (Oct 2020).
  • Guard.me’s contribution to four scholarship programs with Brazil and Mexico in the past year has raised the visibility of Languages Canada and participating members and opened the doors to larger opportunities with governments in Mexico and Brazil, including contracts to bring larger groups to Canada and to participate in projects overseas.

Additionally, while Guard.me’s financial contribution continues to help the association expand its offer and keep members’ costs down, we cannot forget that Guard.me’s support extends to offering expertise and advice in matters ranging from student protection to ever-changing world markets.

On behalf of the Languages Canada Board of Directors, please join us in thanking Guard.me for its commitment to building a vibrant language education sector in Canada through the support and partnership it provides to the association and to our members.
