In addition to our EAP Program, we offer IELTS Preparation Courses that delve deep into the four modules of the IELTS Test: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Our highly qualified instructors aim to help students really understand the core components, providing valuable tips and strategies to improve students' IELTS band scores.

We also offer Summer and Winter Camp English Programs. Our courses are between two to six weeks in length and aim to improve students' listening, reading, writing and overall communication skills. Our Summer and Winter Camp Programs are extremely fun and interactive, aiming for students to fully immerse into the Canadian culture while improving their general English skills.

BICC offers three levels of English for Academic Purposes (EAP). The courses are each 300 hours long. The courses run full-time for 12 weeks, 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day. The BICC EAP courses provide students with the complex and sophisticated English language skills required for academic success in an English speaking College or University.

ADVANTAGES OF BICC'S EAP PROGRAM:

  • Potential waiver of the English Proficiency requirement for International Students into our partner post-secondary institutions: students are provided with an alternate route to prove their English Proficiency requirements.
  • Guaranteed low student to teacher ratio: we purposefully ensure that our EAP Program has less than 10 students for every teacher so it guarantees successful attainment of the reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar skills taught for each level.
  • Highly qualified teachers: BICC’s EAP Teachers are highly qualified in their field of English and have a wealth of experience teaching International Students English.

  • On-going Academic and Cultural Counselling: BICC Student Counsellors provide students with constant and continuous help on academic issues such as peer-tutoring and individualized study schedules as well as issues outside of the classroom such as accommodation services and cultural activities in and around Toronto.
