Insights on the Japanese Student Market

Join us on June 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern as we shine a spotlight on the Japanese student market, with the help of representatives from the Embassy of Canada in Tokyo, Bonard, and JAOS (Japan Association of Overseas Studies).

Japan ranked as Languages Canada members' top student source country in 2021! While this was a direct result of members being open for business and welcoming international students, it was also partly due to competing study destinations being completely closed to inbound travel. Canada has the potential to remain a top destination for Japanese students but to build on 2021's success, partner relationships need to be nurtured.

Over the course of this 1-hour session, we'll look at important Japanese market stats from IRCC, the current state of affairs in the country, and key data pointing to how Canada can retain market share recently gained from its traditional competitors.

Local experts will also share how they see the future for Japanese youth seeking to study English or French abroad – and how Languages Canada member programs can continue to attract them!
