RCIIS has a very unique teaching philosophy which is “Learning by Doing”. This is a system designed to promote communication by preparing students to converse effectively inside and outside the classroom. Students are encouraged to speak, discuss and share their opinions in all of our classes. This preparation will allow them to be confident with their newly acquired English skills when they graduate.

At RCIIS, we are using a duel path system:

One path is primarily focused on speaking. This program includes: ESL Foundation, Power Speaking 1-4, Business Communication and Advanced Discussion / Contemporary Issues. Students who choose this path are aiming to improve their verbal communication skills, so that they can feel confident in English speaking environments.

The other path is focused on Academics. This path includes: ESL Foundation, Pre-Academic 1-4, IELTS Preparation and EAP-English for Academic Purpose. This path is suitable for students who have a plan to study at Canadian colleges and universities. It not only prepares international students with the confidence for the English proficiency tests for Canadian higher education admissions, but also includes ESL pathways with some reputable Canadian public and private colleges and universities.

At RCIIS, we also provide a variety of elective afternoon programs to enhance and support the learning results of students from listening, reading, writing and speaking.

RCIIS has small classes with a family atmosphere. Students feel at home here at RCIIS with the personalized attention that they receive from our professors and our staff members.
