Outbound Trade Mission to Hong Kong

On the Margins of the APAIE 2026 Conference · February 2026

You're invited!

Join Languages Canada on our trade mission to Hong Kong on the margins of APAIE, February, 2026.

With the support of the Trade Commissioner Service, Languages Canada will host up to 30 leading education agents from across Asia for an exclusive networking event with Canadian institutions.

The Trade Mission will be held on the margins of the APAIE Conference in Hong Kong, offering institutions the opportunity to participate in two major international events in a single trip.

According to Languages Canada’s 2025 Term 1 survey, China and Taiwan are the 5th and 8th largest source markets for Canadian ESL and FSL programs. In 2024, they accounted for a combined 900,000 student weeks abroad (Bonard). Both markets also maintain historically high visa approval rates, and students from these regions are consistently drawn to Canada’s high-quality education, safety, and immersive English and French learning environments.

This trade mission presents a prime opportunity to strengthen and expand partnerships in Asia while showcasing Canada’s rich and diverse language education offering.
